Time to buy shoes
![]() |
The basic thing you must consider when you plan to pick up a pair of shoes is the shape of your feet.
The following is a simple test to know what your arch type is.
This will help you certainly in choosing a pair of shoes.
Wet you foot and place it on a paper. You would have either of the following imprints.
Normal arch
Flat arch
High arch
Normal arch is when the movement is supported by the outer part of the mid-foot that is the pressure is evenly spread across
The foot that results in stable movement this kind of shape is very good to go. It would certainly be a benefit, since any shoe with proper shock absorption would do well with this kind of foot.
Flat arch is when there is either very little gap or no gap between the feet and the ground. The shoe usually tilts inwards when in motion and there are always high chances of foot, ankle, knee or any hip injury. The shoes what you select, should be chosen on the kind of insoles, the insoles should be special to avoid injuries.
High arch is the kind in which arch is referred as the one which has a big gap between the feet’s inner part and the ground. The foot rolls or it can tilt outside resulting in improper shock absorption. Getting proper shock absorption should be the first priority while you go and select shoes.
All about shoes:
Sports shoes should never be worn with wrong lowers like a formal shirt tucked in or a formal suit. They can be worn with semi- fitting shirts which are not tucked in.
Shoes should be worn in contrast with the overall dress.
If you choose to wear white shoes, for the sake of fashion, then for god’s sake, please clean them before you step out.
Out of shape shoes, soled shoes and yup dirty shoes are a big time no-no
There is a difference between the day activity shoes or shoes made for some specific activity. Even if you have real expensive shoes meant for soccer, you are not at all supposed to wear those to your workplace.
