The science behind wearing suits!
![]() |
Whether you wear suits everyday of the week or once a while, don’t you think it is imperative for us to feel comfortable as much as look good in it? Well, I ‘m sure those of you who are regular wearers may know this but those of you who are new to this segment of apparel, must know how to pick and choose a suit.
The first thing to be kept in mind is your age group. You can’t just barge into any store and pick a suit made up of any fabric or style without knowing if it’ll really suit your personality. If you are a college goer, there are certainly jazzier and fancy styles available which’ll invariably suit your personality.
But if you end up wearing a heavy fabric that would rather suit your uncle, you’ll certainly look older than you age. Its okay if you are not much into fancy clothing. There are simpler styles available as well.
The second most important thing is the place you’ll be buying it from. I mean going to a regular store which mainly deals in fashion clothing and have just forayed into selling suits will certainly not fetch you the best results. This is so because suits are a completely different form of clothing, which though worn occasionally by few has the ability to make a lifetime of an impression. Hence I’m sure no man would want to compromise on it.
The outlet or the brand you choose should have an expertise of selling suits since at least a decade so that the staff you interact with can guide you through the best piece suitable for you. Until you are a regular customer and have developed your own sense of style and knowledge in this segment, you can’t really rely on your own genius for buying clothing this formal and expensive to say the least.
Now let’s come back to the comfort. You must make sure that your suit suits you. If a piece is looking too good on the display window, it may not necessarily suit you and vice versa. Hence be open minded and make sure you feel right when you put it on. The idea is that you should feel natural in your suit; only then will you feel confident because feeling good contributes greatly to looking good, especially in this case. I am myself not a suit person why when I do wear it, it feels great and I know look good – so should you!
