The one reason of the fact that the charisma of polo shirts is still alive is because it is worn by students, businessmen and everyone in between which means that it is a universal favorite for people spanning all age groups and professions. Let us have a look at the different ways in which you can wear this polo shirt!
There are occasions when wearing a t-shirt seems a bit too informal and it just doesn’t seem to make sense to dress it up with a collared shirt. Well, in such circumstances, polo is a wonderful substitute that brings both comfort as well as durability to your clothing. It specifically fits in well with the new concept of the business casual clothing gaining popularity with employers now a days.
There are no specific rules to wear the polo shirt. Just a few shades and combination of fabrics is all you need to know to give your self the perfect look. Ideally the polo shirt looks the best when worn to give the casual effect with a perfect pair of jeans or any other casual pants such as the corduroy. In fact polo shirt with a pair of corduroy pants makes for one of the neatest look for the fall and winter season. I have often seen women turning heads for men wearing dark thick guage chocolate corduroy lowers in combination with ivory or cream colored polo. Wear it either with snickers or loafers and you’ll be amazed at the number of admiring gazes you’ll get.
Where most popular colors in polo shirts include the blues, greens, tans and browns, the pink color has recently made a come back and is being greatly liked by both the young and those young at heart. Long sleeved polo shirts are also a good option for the older men and look best when worn in solid colors and stripes. In fact they make for a great option when it comes to gifting men with something. Many men are not aware that polo shirts also come in long sleeves.
A new wave that is seen in this genre is wearing a polo shirt with a necktie and jeans. This may come to some of you as something out of the tune but it is making a great style statement among those who flaunt a more eclectic or a relaxed attitude. For those who are interested in trying out this combination may do so with 100% cotton shirt without a button down collar. Some popular combinations include black polo’s with a white tie or lighter shades of blue matched with pink, red or white.
So here we are – with all possible combinations and styles of polo shirts that can give your wardrobe a new definition all together. So gear yourself up and get ready to have women turning their heads at you in awe!

We all know how important it is for us to choose the right clothing for our office wear. Like I said in one of my last papers that people unknown to us take just 30 seconds to create an impression about us at a subconscious level and what we wear plays a crucial role in the decision. So if we have to make sure that we render just the right impression about us, we must know what it takes to be a true gentleman. Hence are some suggestions you might as well like to know about the right clothing for formal wear.
One of the major elements of formal clothing for men is the dress shirts. Please do not confuse these shirts with the regular ones as these cannot be worn with other casual clothing such as jeans or khakis at random. They are formal shirts and look best when paired with formal trousers only. There are certain factors that need to be kept in mind while choosing a shirt which I would like to share with you. I spoke about myriad styles dress shirts are available in, in my last write-up. I also emphasized that parameters like the size and the fit are to be equally taken into regard while buying a shirt. Let’s talk about them in detail in here.
The Size!
There are two areas in a dress shirt where size matters- the neck size and the sleeve length. The over all size of the shirt is affected by the neck size so a larger neck size will be wider around the shoulders and the body. If you have a trimmed body or an athletic built, you should either go to a designer store where fits for all kinds of built are available or if you can’t afford it, then get your shirt stitched, which should taper for a tighter fit.
The statistics available for neck sizes are 14 and a half to 18 and the sleeve lengths vary from 30 to 37. There are many ranges available in the market where manufacturers combine the two lengths into a range such as 32-33. If you are worried about the large size, then you needn’t be because the entire range is available in big and tall shops. If you are still extremely particular about your fit you can get them custom made at your will.
Different brands also offer different sizes. For example, a polo shirt may be differing from Eagle and Eagle may differ from Van Heusen shirts. Ideally shirts with a long tail are better as they easily stay tucked in the pants. You should also make sure that the neck size is large so that you can comfortably button the top button in case you need to wear a tie. Also the sleeves of the shirt should be long enough to cover the wrist when the arm is extended.
These are some minute details that will prove helpful in choosing the perfect fit for you. Lastly what matters most is your confidence and how you carry yourself. This is one thing which actually adds zinc to your already perfect attire. So carry yourself with assurance in whatever you wear and you’ll have the world watching you in admiration!

Fashion seems as though it’s a more important issue for women, but the fashion of casual clothing is actually a more important issue for guys.
Some spring and summer must haves for the perfect casual look
1. Polo Shirts
It was the French tennis player Rene Lacoste who made the polo shirt one of the most popular wardrobe basics out there. Today, every designer has their interpretation and it comes in many colors from solids to heathered to striped. They are available in a wide variety of fabrics as well. It’s a must have for a casual spring or summer look..
2. O-Ring Belt
The perfect choice when trying to avoid the formal look of a dressy belt. Casual belts such as o-ring belts look great when paired with sandals or fun sneakers.
3. Premium Denim Jeans for Men
We already know that denim is a staple in the Indian wardrobe but currently it has become more so than ever. With all of the styles and fits out there it can be a little confusing. So go for the one which is casual and yet trendy for the season.
4. Thongs / Flip Flops
Buy a pair of flip flops every spring and get lots of use out of them. They look great with your favorite pair of jeans and can be worn into the evening on those warm summer nights. Plus, they just look cool and summery.
5. Sunglasses
Of course no spring or summer outfit would be complete without a pair of awesome sunglasses. This is a must have fashion accessory. The right pick can make you look elegant.
Men’s Casual Clothing Tip
Build a Foundation of “Basics”
Today, men’s fashion is much more fitted than it used to be. Those jeans you bought eight years ago probably aren’t the epitome of style they once were. Resolve to keep your wardrobe of basics up to date. Once you’ve established a solid foundation, maintaining your basics should be relatively easy.
Expand Your Options with Accessories
Once you have the basics down, use accessories to shift your look from one style to another.
With the right basics and accessories it’s easy—and you’ve just opened up your potential pool of dating opportunities significantly. Once you have both basics and accessories in your wardrobe there is nothing to worry about what to wear while partying out with friends.
If u have the right picks in your wardrobe. There is no worry of what to wear to look casual as well as elegant.

More and more professions and corporations are having casual Fridays at the office. It has become one of the most accepted trends in the workforce today. Going to work everyday in the same old black business suit can tend to get monotonous. That’s why so many Americans can’t wait until it is Friday. What you wear at the office on Fridays says a lot about you and your individuality.
Here are a few tips that can make you look stylish and chic even in casual attire.
Shirt: You can start with choosing the right type of shirt. The proper and most popular shirt for casual Fridays is a polo shirt also known as golf shirts. They come in a variety of colors. Make sure that your polo shirt is clean and pressed, not faded or bleached, and of higher quality material. It must be tucked in the pants. This will give you that fresh, clean look all day long. If you don’t like the tee look, try wearing a button down collar shirt. An alternative to the polo or golf shirt is a classic pale blue slightly striped dress shirt which can be worn with an open collar and a white crew neck undershirt.
Slacks: While khakis are normally acceptable for slacks, a black or navy pressed, non-faded dress slacks is the perfect choice to make a good first impression. You can also go for twill or worsted wool dress slacks. As a substitute to twill or worsted wool, you can try gabardine trousers which though slightly heavier in weight appeal on the body when they drape. If you company allows you can also try your luck with the black or blue jeans. But try not to make a habit of wearing them on all Fridays.
Tie: Casual Fridays are a good time to wear a conversational tie. You can take out the so called “loud” ties that you would normally not wear to office. Fridays are the right time to wear your Bugsy bunny ties. If you rather wear only conservative ties, make an attempt at wearing a pink or very bright colored tie or polka dot tie.
Shoes: When it comes to shoes and socks, loafers are the perfect choice. They go well especially when you decide to wear dress slacks and pants. When you are wearing jeans, all white K-Swiss is the perfect choice. They’re shiny, stylish, and very comfortable. Your socks should match either the shirt or the pants you are wearing. Don’t attempt to mix-match.
Sports jacket: To finish, try wearing a sports jacket. A navy blue or black, two button sports jacket goes well with any outfit including jeans.
If you keep in mind the following advice, you should be well on your way to looking sleek and stylish when casual Friday arrives.

It’s the small things, for instance an excellent pair of cufflinks or a trendy watch, that make an outfit exceptional. Cufflinks especially lend an aura of sophistication to even an ordinary item of clothing. A pair of cuff-links can make any man more attractive and elegant. (Especially
to the ladies)
Cuff-links have been adding élan to men’s garments since the seventeenth century. The cuff link idea has been developed and polished; evolving into the classy shirt accessory it is today. They are now an essential part of a man’s wardrobe, especially for formal wear. There are cufflinks to go with every outfit, every mood, and every circumstance.
That cufflinks are boring is a great urban myth. On the contrary, they are distinctive, personally expressive, boldly authoritative and distinguishing. Available in varying types of stones, valuable metals, and trendy designs, the cuff-link has become the new mark of success, style and power.
Seeing this trend progressively more shirt manufacturers are producing shirts with French cuffs to meet the increasing demand. It’s certainly a go-ahead to a time when men were required to dress more formally on an everyday basis
A pair of cuff-links worn with a simple shirt and trousers lends a casual chic to the wearer. A power suit dressed up with a solid pair of cuff-links gives class and enhances the image of power. For the more fashion conscious, trendy cuff-links with stones (real or artificial) and latest designs can dress up any shirt with pizzazz.

Traditionally colors, may it be in clothes, furnishings or more recently the web (frankly anything) was the domain of women. Well not any more the modern man is stepping up, choosing his style and color.
Previously colors were thought to be either feminine or masculine; in fact you wouldn’t catch a guy dead in pink or purple as they stood for feminine colors. But men nowadays are ready to experiment with colors in clothes as well as their surroundings; anything goes from pink shirts to purple cars.
A well dressed man in any shade of color can make a woman weak in the knees (I mean just imagine Brad Pitt in a Tux with a pink shirt). When a man knows how to use colors he can create a strong impact that will not only reflect his style but his personality as well.
Business colors
There is a sad fact that the modern man may be ready to explore color but the not so modern Boss is not. So you need to dress accordingly for work, but that does not mean you have to dress boringly in colors that do not suit your personality. Suits in Colors like charcoal gray, black, khaki, navy blue or French blue and shades of brown can be teemed with maroons, jade green or forest green, wine tones, grape tones, peach tones and very light pink in ties and shirts for a contemporary look. (you can even add splashes of orange, red or yellow)
Leisure Colors
When it comes to leisure you can be your own Boss, try any color with any combo (but please be tasteful). Try Khaki pants with an orange jacket and white shirt or go for a purple silk shirt with casual grey trousers, or you can simply wear your staple blue jeans with a variety of new shades in T-shirts say pink, soft greens, or even tie and die styles. You can be funky, sensual, sober or dashing with just a twist of color and a multitude of shades. So go for it.

Are you planning to build a new wardrobe? If yes, then put in a number of versatile pieces together to create your perfect clothing line. Here are a few tips to consider when choosing the important parts of your wardrobe including shoes, pants, belts and shirts.
Shoes:
Purchase at least four pairs of shoes- a pair for exercise, casual sneakers, black boots and brown dress shoes. Prefer a pair of black, grey or blue sneakers. A cap toe or a wing tip brown shoes if fine.
Pants:
I would not suggest you baggy fit when you shop for a pair of jeans. Ultra-tight jeans are flop. Dark blue jeans with a soft wash are preferable. Talking about pants, it should well fit your waist. The cuff of the leg should not bunch up around your shoe; it should stop right where the sole starts on your shoes.
Belts:
Keep it simple- buy a plain black or brown leather belt.
Shirts:
Polos are good choice. Rugby stripes are also fine. Use white t-shirts as undershirts. Shop for a few pullover hooded shirts as well.

Many offices have the tradition of Friday casual dressing. You might have done sufficient shopping for your formal wardrobe. If you are not clear about what to wear on weekenders, we are here to help you with a few tips on casual clothing in your workplace. Read on.
Keep it simple: A little forethought is necessary before rushing to a clothing store to buy the casual clothes. Create a rough budget of how much you can spend. Figure out what all you already have in your wardrobe and what you want to purchase.
The purchase:
• Shoes and socks: Look for the pair of shoes which is great comfort. Conservative styles in basic black or brown leather work for business casual, formal client days and after-hours socializing. Stick with solid black or brown socks to match your shoes.
• Shirts and accessories: It will be better if you ask opinions about the choice of shirts and accessories. For instance, which blazer to wear, what about a tie etc.
• Colors: If you are sensible, you will surely not have neon orange cargo pants and an olive drab tank top in your casual wardrobe. Stay away from loud colors.
