Men’s formal wear: Suits

Men’s formal wear: SuitsCotton or wool, formal or casual, shopping for suits can be difficult and expensive when you don’t know what to choose for yourself.
Here are a few tips on how to choose a suit for yourself:
Your suit should fit you properly in the shoulders. If it does not fit, then the suit will never fit well. You will never get what you wanted of the suit.

The sleeves should be short and end at the turning point of your wrist so that a sliver of dress-shirt cuff peaks out.

Go for dark, neutral colors like black, charcoal, or navy. These colors work on everyone.

If you’re a thin, have the sides of the jacket taken in a bit.

If you are broad, you don’t need a lot of shoulder padding.

If you have short legs, make sure the jacket isn’t too long.

Choose a good quality fabric. It may be a little expensive but it’ll last you longer. You can find a great price on a desirable suit; just make sure to shop around and compare and choose the one that best suits you.

In summer seasons, you should go and buy yourself a cotton suit. They’re essential in the hot-weather months, and; they’re available in different styles, from classic khaki to pinstripe business.

You can go in for simple, flat-front styles and get them tailored if you want to keep it both simple and elegant.

The aforesaid tips will help you choose a suit that will satisfy you the most and complement your style.

How to take care of your suit?

The suit shouldn’t be dry cleaned too much in order to protect the reliability of the fabric.Even the best quality men’s suits cannot stand to be dry cleaned too often.Once or twice at the most is fine.

You can also get your suit steam pressed to remove wrinkles if you do not want to get it dry cleaned.

You should cover your suit with a suit cover when you are not wearing it. This will help you keep it away from dust or even bugs. They can ruin the look as well as your suit.

Don’t wear the same suit everyday. It is important to give it at least a day’s rest. If worn everyday it will collect too much perspiration over time.

If you spill food on your suit make sure that you take it to the dry cleaner immediately. If you prolong the time the stain might become permanent.

It’s not enough to choose the right fabric, color and style. Once the suit is made you also need to take proper care of it.

HOW TO PICK UP THE BEST WATCH

HOW TO PICK UP THE BEST WATCHWatch, is the most single piece of accessory that represents a male, his characters, hobby and of course his wealth too. The look of the watch may differ according to tastes and preferences of people. They can be fashionable, classic or prestige.

TIPS TO FOLLOW:

You must choose a watch that suits your personality and matches your desires.

Any man should have a watch suitable to work and home environments.

Sports watches are generally lower in cost than casual or formal watches. For the most part, sports watches are all about function. They need the stop watch for timing, and often have other functions such as diving depths, a compass, temperature reading, and even pitching speed readers. The Omega Seamaster is perhaps the fanciest of the sports watches with facilities like night vision, tachometers, compass, and other fancy tools.

When shopping for a classy watch, look for stainless steel straps. They are stronger than a traditional leather strap. You can wear such a watch to office. Stainless steel does not rust, and it is water resistant.

Gold plated watches are also an option. If that suits your budget.

Large men should buy a watch that does not appear too tiny compared to their wrist. Smaller watch faces can look rather feminine on plus sized men.

You must base the size of the watch face on the span of the wrist for a watch to look good.

You even get waterproof watches in the market However; only divers will really swim with their watch on, so this is an option you may not need.

If possible, always look for those with good re-sale value.

The most interesting and desirable watches are called Automatic watches. Automatic watches are mechanical watches that are driven “automatically” by harnessing the kinetic energy produced by simple human movement. If you are looking for something which is automatic you can go in for such watches.

Watches and their bands come in a variety of colors. Choose a color that suits your needs.

Don’t rush and buy any watch that comes your way. See all the latest watches available compare and then buy. You should be satisfied with your purchase.

Choosing a wrist watch that suits might be a difficult and a tedious task for some. The above mentioned guidelines will help you buy the most suitable watch for yourself.

2008 Men’s Handbag Trends

2008 Men’s Handbag TrendsMen’s handbag fashion is here to stay. Handbag is perhaps an inseparable part of an accessory, without which your wardrobe is considered to be incomplete. The fashion junkies name it as ‘manbag’.

It is true that for many years, we guys didn’t have to carry as much stuff with us as our female counterparts. But now that we have enough goods to make our pockets feel a bit uncomfortable, manbag has become really inevitable. The handbag is spacious enough to accommodate our pens, paper, sunglasses, wallets, gum, mints etc.

It seems that in this year, the idea of manbag has begun to catch on even with guys who consider themselves ragged individuals. However, we are still finding it difficult to embrace the accessorizing factors which are such a big factor for the fairer sex.

The designers are well aware of our self-imposed limitations. They are coming up with trendy designer’s handbags for men.

The manbags are designed as such to make us feel comfortable carrying them. These handbags follow the simple design of a laptop bag or a tote bag. Some manbags even look like a soft briefcase. Handbags for men are available in ‘manly’ colors such as brown and black. Shades of pink and other colors reserved for women’s handbags are strictly prohibited for men’s handbags! This gives us a feeling of carrying a worthy accessory that suits every occasion.

New Age Color For The Modern Man

New Age Color For The Modern ManTraditionally colors, may it be in clothes, furnishings or more recently the web (frankly anything) was the domain of women. Well not any more the modern man is stepping up, choosing his style and color.
Previously colors were thought to be either feminine or masculine; in fact you wouldn’t catch a guy dead in pink or purple as they stood for feminine colors. But men nowadays are ready to experiment with colors in clothes as well as their surroundings; anything goes from pink shirts to purple cars.
A well dressed man in any shade of color can make a woman weak in the knees (I mean just imagine Brad Pitt in a Tux with a pink shirt). When a man knows how to use colors he can create a strong impact that will not only reflect his style but his personality as well.

Business colors
There is a sad fact that the modern man may be ready to explore color but the not so modern Boss is not. So you need to dress accordingly for work, but that does not mean you have to dress boringly in colors that do not suit your personality. Suits in Colors like charcoal gray, black, khaki, navy blue or French blue and shades of brown can be teemed with maroons, jade green or forest green, wine tones, grape tones, peach tones and very light pink in ties and shirts for a contemporary look. (you can even add splashes of orange, red or yellow)

Leisure Colors
When it comes to leisure you can be your own Boss, try any color with any combo (but please be tasteful).  Try Khaki pants with an orange jacket and white shirt or go for a purple silk shirt with casual grey trousers, or you can simply wear your staple blue jeans with a variety of new shades in T-shirts say pink, soft greens, or even tie and die styles. You can be funky, sensual, sober or dashing with just a twist of color and a multitude of shades. So go for it.

Color Decoded

Color DecodedIf you never look quite right in your clothes, there’s a strong chance you’re simply not wearing the right colors. Colors can do anything, black or dark colors hide flaws, and colors can also accentuate your looks and body. And much more. If you want to know more, shell out some time and read the article:
1. Look Taller
Wear light colored tops with darker colored lowers. When wearing jeans, ensure that it is low waist as this gives you an illusion of having a proportionate build. Style tip: white T-shirt looks awesome in summers
2. Look Fuller
Wear light colors like beige, white and pastel tones of pink, blue, grey and green. Dress in layers-shirts with jackets and trousers for the office and T-shirts, under shirts and a pair of jeans when you are at home.

3. For Wheatish Complexions
Colors like blue, army green, beige and chocolate brown compliment Wheatish skin tones. When wearing prints, ensure that the color of the print doesn’t contrast with the base color of the garment. Instead, look out for prints with different tones in the same color family.

4. Look Leaner:
Wear dark-colored high-waist straight-cut trousers and team them with light-colored shirts. Avoid loose fit trousers and shirts that droop at the shoulder and always opt for a fitted and structured fit for your clothes.

5. If you have pale skin tone…
Wear strong colors like orange, turquoise, red and purple. You can mix and contrast two strong colors together but never mix cold colors with warm colors. Lounge pajamas and comfort-fit trousers are for you!

6. If you have a dark skin…
Wear lots of whites, blacks, olive green, light grey or metallic tones of copper and silver. Remember; less is always more when it comes to embellishments.
