Being economic in your life is good but being stylish yet not affecting your pocket means to be an art which few know. But nowadays it is a necessity as per the growing fashion and the standard of living is increasing from time to time. You just need to be careful while styling-
1. Wear more color- you should have more colour in your wardrobe. This is one thing which is the first answer given by the stylists. Adding colour make you look more lively and vibrant than the neutral tones. You can support a wearing a brightly colored t-shirt under a v-neck sweater, or sporting a new shirt or sweater is just a matter of giving a change to your daily style. A change is always good, if carried off well.
Note: shopping sales are just another smart way to cut down your expenses for a new sweater or a shirt. Just keep your eyes peeled.
2. Seek out a new pair of glasses/sunglasses-glasses are a great way to express yourself, after all its your face. For a very casual look you could simply be wearing jeans and a t-shirt, but with the right glasses you suddenly look fashion savvy. You can a have a pair or two of the glasses one which is bold and the other a subdued one, which can go with your outfit and mood.
Note: if you don’t wear glasses, sunglasses can really add a dash of style to your personality as it is counted as one of the best fashion accessories.
3. Sport yourself with one or two super pieces- if you can afford, do buy a classy, elegant or simply a great piece in your closet which you may think will really keep you looking stylish. This may be a cool sport coat, a leather jacket or an awesome pair of jeans that really show off your assets.
4. Treat yourself with a fancy belt- it can really cool and elaborated with a big buckle and can steal the show. This is one inexpensive accessory you can sport which can add to your style statement.
5. Avoid tattered shoes- it is an instant turn off. Either get a shoe shine or buy a new pair altogether. Just keep them looking at their best-as its said “A real gentleman can be judged by his shoes.”
6. Going groovy over watches- since men doesn’t have much to spend on lot of jewelry they can really go for watches which suits their personality and as it is a great way to express yourself as well as liven up your look.
But do not let your limited budget limit your style. Its a law of universe that first impression is the last impression so why not put your odds in your favor?

Accessories form one of the most neglected parts of our wardrobe. Men tend to pay attention only to what they wear but fail to understand that accessories if picked correctly and worn properly can transform the way they look. For those who are unaware, accessories play a vital in spelling a style statement for you as they reflect not only your lifestyle but also your attitude.
In my last article I spoke extensively about informal accessories and how can you hunt for the right pieces. In this write-up I’ll be focusing on formal accessories and ways to wear them in a tasteful manner. These accessories are called formal because they are typically worn with a suit or at the very least with a dress shirt and a tie. Some common ones include:
Cufflinks
Cufflinks are becoming increasingly popular and every discerning man is seen to invest in a few pairs that match his corresponding French cuffed shirts. The only two types of shirts that will accommodate cufflinks are either the convertible ones, which are again a newcomer to the market or the French cuffed ones like I just said. Silver accenting shirts are best suited for younger men where as gold fit the best for older men. One more thing about these accessories is that they render a unique flair to your personality that sets you apart from the rest.
Tie Clips
Tie clips have once again made a recent comeback but seem to be here to stay for long now. Now wearing this depends a lot on your attitude and sense of style. Different men wear it in different ways. It can be worn low on the tie to secure it into place or at a higher position as well if you are planning to make a flashy or a bold statement.
Pocket Squares
Also called as the pocket puffs, these spell magic when worn with suits. For those unknown to this, these are silk squares that one folds and places into the breast pocket of a blazer or a suit jacket. These are beautiful pieces and are a perfect compliment to a well co-coordinated suit. Emerging trends also show a patterned pocket square being ruffled into a breast pocket while worn with a sport shirt and a pair of fashionable jeans.
Hence now that you know it all, I’m sure you will judiciously pick your accessories the next time to go to buy one.

Employing accessories is one of the best ways to accentuate one’s style. Though they form an underestimated part of our wardrobe, using them can bring about a great change in the way we look. If you don’t believe this, let me tell you if you put a little effort in choosing the right watch, ring or cufflinks for yourself, you can easily add a great deal of zing to your personality. Ideally men pay very less attention while buying a watch or ring for themselves but if you really want to look your best, here are some tips that can of great help. Here we go!
Let’s focus on casual accessories in this article. Casual accessories primarily include watches, rings, bracelets and necklaces or neck gears as men call them. As the name suggests, they are worn on an everyday basis and hence are called so. The advent of mobile phones has comparatively reduced the popularity of watches but it still carries a lot of gravity to those who know what difference that this item make to you. A gentleman’s choice should always be a leather watch. You can also go in for a metal watch but only that which is made up of good quality materials. The design of the watch plays a crucial role in determining your personality so you a good option can be going through a couple of men’s fashion magazine before buying it. If you are a happy go lucky person, a chrono watch may be just the perfect one for you. There is no limit to the variety you can get in this accessory so skim well.
Rings. Rings are obviously a fair game for men and they indeed need to scrutinize the pieces well before going on for a purchase. You may think it is easy to buy rings but in a veritable sea of pieces for women, men are not left with must choice. Ideally a decent and a simple piece fairs the best as compared to jazzed-up jewelry for men which often starts giving a feminine look. Young men should generally opt for silver or white gold as it spells a modern look while matured men should stay close to more traditional square-cut gold pieces.
There is once again no limit to the neck gears and bracelets available for men now a days. Remember that if you are a serious person, then putting on a cheesy karaoke piece around yourself may only make you look funnier. Ideally your attire and most importantly the occasion should decide your choice of this accessory. For example, if you are planning to hit the night club, then some trendy stuff will look the best.
So here we are! There is still one thing that needs to be kept in mind above everything else. Putting on any kind of accessory demands that you also have the right kind of attitude to flaunt it the right way. The first step towards this is being confident about your self and carry yourself with absolute élan and poise.

If you thought leaving on a holiday was just about throwing a couple of things into your suitcase, think again. There are definitely certain things to be kept in mind in order to have a great and enjoyable holiday. Her is a man’s guide on what to do, take along and leave behind.
Basic grooming
Whichever way you choose to travel, you need to prepare yourself well in advance to face the elements.
Flying: flying for long hours dehydrate the skin. So, prepare your body for the journey at least a week in advance. Drink plenty of fluids before and during a flight to increase the water and moisture levels in your body. Start a skin care regime to nourish the skin. The nightly use of a good moisturizer ensures that your skin stays soft, supple and well nourished.
Road: a road journey leads to exposure to dust and pollutants. Use a face pack twice before you leave to ensure clean pores. Once you arrive at your destination, wash your face with a mild cleanser. You can also use a good astringent and toner.
Sea: if you are travelling by sea, you must realize that you are exposing yourself to long hours in the sun and a lot of salt air. Make sure you constantly wash your face with water to allow your skin to retain moisture. Also use a good sunblock or anti-tan lotion.
Train: a long train journey leads to fatigue, which shows up on your skin. To revitalize your skin you can use H20 Transactive Hydrating Face Gel- an oil free cream that gives your skin glow.
Wardrobe planning
If you are one of those who let your wives/girlfriends/mothers/partners do your packing, we suggest you take over. Plan your wardrobe keeping three things in mind: the place you are going to, the weather and what you plan to do once you get there.
Business with leisure
Destination: urban centers/industrial towns/downtown.
Carry: business suits, couple of formal shirts, a few ties, a pair of casual trousers, collared T-shirts, innerwear, nightwear and socks.
Leave behind: T-shirts, cargo pants, jeans, sportswear,
Silhouette: fitted yet comfortable.
Colors: black, brown, grey, white.
Accessories: carry bag, shoes.
Hair: keep it stark and simple. Classic, sculpted and neat hair is ideal for business. Use some styling gel.
City slick
Destination: urban centers.
Carry: jeans, formal and casual trousers, trendy shirts, body-hugging T-shirts, club wear, a formal and casual jacket, innerwear, nightwear and socks.
Leave behind: business suits, pajamas and shorts.
Silhouette: fitted or relaxed.
Colors: blue, white, black, silver, red, green. Orange.
Accessories: walking shoes, neutral formal shoes, sunglasses.
Hair: spike your hair or give it volume and lift. Give your hair a glossy look. Use hair serum.
Rough and tough
Destination: mountains/rafting.
Carry: casual jackets, T-shirts, a light jersey, cargo pants, tracks, shorts, jeans and sportswear. Also innerwear, nightwear and socks.
Leave behind: Business suits, formals and trousers.
Silhouette: fitted and comfort.
Colors: brown, grey, white, blue, military green and black.
Accessories: sunglasses, walking shoes and sports shoes.
Hair: let your hair be natural. Avoid hair products.

Accessories are an important part of a men’s wardrobe too. It’s important to polish off your look with the right accessories. Dressing right and being updated with the latest fashion trends is an imperative if you want to be in vogue and feel like your most confident self. You don’t know what you are missing if you are arrogant about being fashion conscious.
It doesn’t matter where you are or what do you, being well dressed and looking good can never be something that’s too much to ask!
These accessories can add that touch of class you need:
Socks: The rule on socks is that they should match the color of your pants, though preferably not the exact same shades. Socks of dark colors should be preferably worn because whites look too stark.
Ties: Ties are the mainstay of men’s fashion. Tie. It is the most iconic fashion accessory.
So what is in style today? You could try a bow tie. Ties could be Designer ties, stripe ties, novelty ties, solid color tie. A solid-colored shirt with a tie of the same color is now a somewhat dated look. Try mixing things up a little and experiment with colors. Ties are great way to express yourself, but keeping it tasteful is your best bet. Just make sure your tie compliments your shirt.
You can pick up a plain dark blue or black tie for serious occasions, pick the one in color that suits you or you like for parties, and one with ‘silly’ pattern for some ‘special free ‘silly’ moments.
Cufflinks: In a way cuff links can be considered as timeless classics, since these miniature works of art actually predate the shirt. Cuff links may be worn with your choice of several cuff styles, and matched with a necktie, button cover, ascot, or bolo tie / bola tie. Choose cufflinks keeping the mood of the occasion in mind.
Watches: Watches are the single most important accessory a man can own. I really suggest investing in one good watch that suits your lifestyle and tastes .Platinum or stainless steel is perhaps some of the most attractive men’s wrist watches today.
Belts: Belt is one accessory that can make or break the entire ensemble. Go with the basics for work wear. But when you’re partying there are no rules. Whatever your inner devil wants is fine.
Sunglasses: Sunglasses come in many different shades, shapes, and styles these days that it can be hard to choose though. Plastic frame looks more eye-catching so you’ll gain more attention; besides it appears more masculine. Choose the frame that suits your image.
Smelling great will be the perfect end to a dressing ritual. Make the effort to use the same brand of after-shave, cologne, and eau de perfume. This way your fragrance lasts longer.
Its one of the greatest pleasures to dress yourself and look your best. Looking good can make a very real difference to your life.

Think only girls worry about what to wear? Think again! Fashion can be tricky for guys, but we’ll take the guesswork out of dressing with tips, shopping links and trends.
According to men’s fashion expert Andy Gilchrist “Researchers have come up with some scientific evidence to support the fact that what you wear really does make a difference in how you influence the world .He says that looking good may even affect your grades.
“The guy in English that gets all the high grades, may not be smarter nor study harder than you, he may just know how to look smart to the teacher,” according to Andy .
How to go about choosing your fashion-
Colors
You can compliment or contrast. Here’s the lowdown:
• Complimentary colors are closer together in shades. Produces a more subtle look: Blue and green, khaki and gray, orange and red.
• Contrasting colors play off of each other. A bolder look: Black and white, navy and khaki, denim and red.
Layer
Choose either complimentary or contrasting colors (to avoid a just-rolled-outta-bed-and-threw-something-on look). Try these:
• Tee polo
• Tee oxford
• Tee sweater
• Tee polo sweater
• Tee polo oxford
• Tee tee.
Accessorize
• Your shoes and belt should be the same color. Black with black, brown with brown.
• A rugged necklace made of leather, shells, or big beads can really pull an outfit together.
• Use hats in small doses. Baseball caps can be totally out of place worn with jeans and a nice top. A newsboy cap can be pulled off by only the trendiest guys. If you insist on sporting a topper, try a stretchy knit cap (best for fall/winter) or a sporty visor (best for outdoors).
• Buy cool shades. Andy says the hottest shades feature lenses with flash mirroring and gradient colors like deep reds, oranges and gold (”Men in Black II”).
Do’s
• Experiment with styles. Urban; Prep; Sophisticated; Artsy; Retro; Mod; Punk; Surfer. Try to mix different looks.
• Be particular about the fit of pants - especially denim. Tapered leg (fitted at the ankle) is an absolute NO! Slightly loose-fitting in the leg with a bit of a boot-cut is always flattering.
Don’ts
• Avoid the head-to-toe baggy look — it’s just not flattering. T-shirts that reach to your knees will make your legs look two inches long (plus those extremely wide-leg jeans won’t help!).
• Skip the athletic socks with non-athletic shoes. Doesn’t work with loafers, oxfords, leather boots, and most importantly, Doc Marten-style leather sandals. Ever.
• Pass on head-to-toe logos. Mixing labels = good. Mixing over-the-top logos = tacky. When it comes to designer sigs, less is always more.

Fashion seems as though it’s a more important issue for women, but the fashion of casual clothing is actually a more important issue for guys.
Some spring and summer must haves for the perfect casual look
1. Polo Shirts
It was the French tennis player Rene Lacoste who made the polo shirt one of the most popular wardrobe basics out there. Today, every designer has their interpretation and it comes in many colors from solids to heathered to striped. They are available in a wide variety of fabrics as well. It’s a must have for a casual spring or summer look..
2. O-Ring Belt
The perfect choice when trying to avoid the formal look of a dressy belt. Casual belts such as o-ring belts look great when paired with sandals or fun sneakers.
3. Premium Denim Jeans for Men
We already know that denim is a staple in the Indian wardrobe but currently it has become more so than ever. With all of the styles and fits out there it can be a little confusing. So go for the one which is casual and yet trendy for the season.
4. Thongs / Flip Flops
Buy a pair of flip flops every spring and get lots of use out of them. They look great with your favorite pair of jeans and can be worn into the evening on those warm summer nights. Plus, they just look cool and summery.
5. Sunglasses
Of course no spring or summer outfit would be complete without a pair of awesome sunglasses. This is a must have fashion accessory. The right pick can make you look elegant.
Men’s Casual Clothing Tip
Build a Foundation of “Basics”
Today, men’s fashion is much more fitted than it used to be. Those jeans you bought eight years ago probably aren’t the epitome of style they once were. Resolve to keep your wardrobe of basics up to date. Once you’ve established a solid foundation, maintaining your basics should be relatively easy.
Expand Your Options with Accessories
Once you have the basics down, use accessories to shift your look from one style to another.
With the right basics and accessories it’s easy—and you’ve just opened up your potential pool of dating opportunities significantly. Once you have both basics and accessories in your wardrobe there is nothing to worry about what to wear while partying out with friends.
If u have the right picks in your wardrobe. There is no worry of what to wear to look casual as well as elegant.

Accessories have the power to make or break an outfit. They also have the power to make you look downright tacky and gaudy. When planning to attend a formal event, men should always keep their accessories simple and low-key, but still elegant. Here are some tips about the accessories from head-to-toe.
PIERCINGS- Unless you are going to a rock and roll awards show or heading for the discotheque, you might want to keep the visible piercings to a minimum. Earrings are astonishingly acceptable in a formal setting, and removing them will only draw attention if people notice their absence. Instead of getting rid of them altogether, switch to something low-key and elegant If you have pierced your ears, stick to a small diamond stud or a small hoop. You can also go for simple silver or black or something that matches what you’re wearing.
TIE- A tie is usually a prerequisite for a formal event. Wear something that is toned-down but with some personality. You’re going to want to opt for a classic, simple color that matches your suit. Avoid loud ties with bright and intense colors. Try to leave your Donald Duck tie at home. However, if you simply cannot wear a tie, keep your suit coat on or you will end up portraying a look that is too casual. Wearing a bow tie is not a compulsion.
PINS- If you are wearing a tie, a sedate pin can be a nice touch. It can help you to express your personal style. There are all sorts of different pins available in the market. Remember to match it with the tie!
NECKLACES- That hemp necklace you love to wear might be downright sexy at the beach, but it will be out-and-out tacky at a formal do. For a more sophisticated look, leave it at home .Also avoid flashy, large pendants. Remember -do not wear any necklace with a tie (for obvious reasons).
CUFF LINKS- Cuff links are another alternative to consider. It provides you an opportunity to express yourself beyond your suit or tux. But in order to pull off a polished ensemble, stay away from oversized novelty ones. Make sure to wear stylish cufflinks that match the color of the rest of your accessories.
BELT- You require a belt, mostly to keep your pants up. Unless you take off your jacket, most people will not notice your belt. Stick to brown or black, and remember not to wear a flashy belt buckle.
WATCH- A watch is always classy; but not your sports watch, please! Wear a nice watch- something leather or metallic. Avoid plastic or cheap-looking wrist bands at all costs.
BRACELET- A chain link gold, silver, or titanium bracelet will compliment your look. But don’t go too far with the jewelry.
Men’s accessories for formal wear are meant to be simple and elegant, not gaudy or flashy. If you keep these simple things in mind, no one can stop you from making a memorable first impression that is both stylish and chic.

It’s the small things, for instance an excellent pair of cufflinks or a trendy watch, that make an outfit exceptional. Cufflinks especially lend an aura of sophistication to even an ordinary item of clothing. A pair of cuff-links can make any man more attractive and elegant. (Especially
to the ladies)
Cuff-links have been adding élan to men’s garments since the seventeenth century. The cuff link idea has been developed and polished; evolving into the classy shirt accessory it is today. They are now an essential part of a man’s wardrobe, especially for formal wear. There are cufflinks to go with every outfit, every mood, and every circumstance.
That cufflinks are boring is a great urban myth. On the contrary, they are distinctive, personally expressive, boldly authoritative and distinguishing. Available in varying types of stones, valuable metals, and trendy designs, the cuff-link has become the new mark of success, style and power.
Seeing this trend progressively more shirt manufacturers are producing shirts with French cuffs to meet the increasing demand. It’s certainly a go-ahead to a time when men were required to dress more formally on an everyday basis
A pair of cuff-links worn with a simple shirt and trousers lends a casual chic to the wearer. A power suit dressed up with a solid pair of cuff-links gives class and enhances the image of power. For the more fashion conscious, trendy cuff-links with stones (real or artificial) and latest designs can dress up any shirt with pizzazz.
