Our Take on Opinionated Tees
![]() |
T-shirts are one of the best things that happened to a man’s wardrobe. They are casual, airy and look good. Both round necks and polo necks gave their own reason and purpose and have now aggravated themselves to a position of a must have in a man’s wardrobe.
Although, designs and creativity have no periphery but Tees with sleazy captions doesn’t make a man look good. So shun the tasteless captions or graphics (or anything that can be construed as obscene or illegal). Also pass on the really touristy shirts unless you’ve been somewhere exotic – it could catch people’s interest.
Conversely a T-shirt’s design and message can also help you promote a cause. Keep such tees for such gatherings only. If you are in a party or a social gathering and are looking to hook up with some one, a tee can help you do that. For instance, a T-shirt that sports a logo of a social organization, literary magazine, environmental NGO or something else that floats your boat and might cause her to say “Wow, where’s (what’s) (etc.) that about?” will save you from coming up with a witty opening line.
Thinking of wearing your school/ college T-shirt? Just make sure you know what you’re talking about. Plain vanilla T-shirts with the name of your school or employer can also help get a conversation started.
