Men and women both can have these facial shapes, officially…oval, square, round, triangle, etc. But mostly men have square shaped faces. Men may loose out on their round shaped faces or their square jaws because of weight gain or age…they still keep continue with square influences on their faces.
Triangle shape is missing most oft from men’s since it is a feminine designation.
Square shaped men
A man with a square shaped face looks best in a hairstyle which adds to the square shape…it should bring in focus the features. Though there are not many
Options available for this kind…but the best suited one is which provides a square frame for the face. Whether you keep your hair long or short, the only thing is that it should have a square image.
The rectangular shaped faces
Many men enjoy square shaped faces, but with a bit of rectangular softness, they are called modified square faces. If you have a facial shape which includes a softer jaw shape and the rectangular lines, a hairstyle with layers is the best.
Facial hair may also help enhance the look….if you have soft jaw line, you can keep a beard which gives the square effect. And if a soft chin, then the goatee, carefully trimmed, be the best.
And if you have perfectly rectangle shaped faces, then the face needs to be shortened, the rectangle angle and the intended hairline to be hidden or made not very clear. With this face kind, the real hair line should be framed or made look enhanced. The best solution can be a layered cut, which helps form an irregular look at the hairline. A well kept moustache is a good way of helping shorten a longer face and give it a much more balanced look.
