Hair Care: Dry Hair
![]() |
If your hair tends to look frazzled at the ends, is unmanageable and frizzy, it may require a bit of moisturizing. Men, who spend a lot of times outdoors- in water or sun, may have such hair, as both water and sun can strip the moisture from your hair. To get your hair back to health and life, follow these:
Make the Salon you Favorite Haunt: Make sure you visit a salon for hair treatments, shampooing, moisturizing and other hairdos, on a regular basis. Don’t do these things at home because you won’t be able to yield the desired results.
Choose a Correct Shampoo: There are many specialized shampoos to care for dry and frazzled hair. Choose a type that is part shampoo and part conditioner. Remember that dry hair needs good conditioning and your hair washing chore is incomplete without a conditioner.
Massaging your hair with olive oil or coconut oil a couple of hours before shampooing will also give you fabulous results.
Style Check: There’s good news, thankfully, guys with dry hair can use styling lotions, creams and pomades. Rejoice! Avoid mousses and gels that contain alcohol because these will further dry your hair. Always remember, when it comes to styling products, less is always more.
Having dry hair is still better (men with oily hair, no offence!), since it can be tacked by better moisturizing. All you need is to follow the aforementioned points and a bit of extra care for your hair.
