If you never look quite right in your clothes, there’s a strong chance you’re simply not wearing the right colors. Colors can do anything, black or dark colors hide flaws, and colors can also accentuate your looks and body. And much more. If you want to know more, shell out some time and read the article:
1. Look Taller
Wear light colored tops with darker colored lowers. When wearing jeans, ensure that it is low waist as this gives you an illusion of having a proportionate build. Style tip: white T-shirt looks awesome in summers
2. Look Fuller
Wear light colors like beige, white and pastel tones of pink, blue, grey and green. Dress in layers-shirts with jackets and trousers for the office and T-shirts, under shirts and a pair of jeans when you are at home.
3. For Wheatish Complexions
Colors like blue, army green, beige and chocolate brown compliment Wheatish skin tones. When wearing prints, ensure that the color of the print doesn’t contrast with the base color of the garment. Instead, look out for prints with different tones in the same color family.
4. Look Leaner:
Wear dark-colored high-waist straight-cut trousers and team them with light-colored shirts. Avoid loose fit trousers and shirts that droop at the shoulder and always opt for a fitted and structured fit for your clothes.
5. If you have pale skin tone…
Wear strong colors like orange, turquoise, red and purple. You can mix and contrast two strong colors together but never mix cold colors with warm colors. Lounge pajamas and comfort-fit trousers are for you!
6. If you have a dark skin…
Wear lots of whites, blacks, olive green, light grey or metallic tones of copper and silver. Remember; less is always more when it comes to embellishments.
