So, what are the best tattoo styles for your particular body? You should be your own judge, as you will be the person who has it for the rest of your life.
New School Tattoo Styles - This style is actually from when sailors would get anchors and swallows tattooed on themselves. When this style started out, they were very plain, but recently men and women alike have incorporated this design on themselves in some amazing ways. The colors are much brighter and a lot more animated. Men are getting them on their shoulders and arms.
Japanese Kanji Tattoo Styles - As you may have known, this tattoo style is popular with the “full sleeve” crowd. The Kanji tattoo style just keeps getting better and better as more and more artists are familiar with this design. The most famous Kanji design happens to be the Koi fish.
Tribal Tattoo Styles - The tribal tattoo has been around for generations, long before your great grandfather was even born. They are a lot more complex in their design in this day and age, but they are always a classic piece if done right. Many people are now incorporating color into the classic tribal look, which has opened up a whole new dimension for tribal tattoo styles.
Men prefer to use identity symbols more than decorative devices that have traditional images like snakes, black panthers and eagles. The most popular option in men is skulls, daggers dripping blood, dragons and basically any image that depicts male strength and valor. Heart tattoos are best used to depict love for both men and women. This is a tattoo that has endured the test of time and is still growing in popular. Tribal styles are becoming more and more popular.
The symbol depicting mystery, power, wisdom and good will is the dragon tattoo. This is because dragons are considered to be good luck and have qualities including strength and courage.
Animal tattoos are the most popular of all. This is because animal tattoos relate to animals that we use to demonstrate the inner connections we have with fine beasts and the similarities we exhibit with these animals. Snake tattoos and reptiles are becoming more and fashionable.
Similarly, bird tattoos have lots of reverence in the tattoo world. Some of the most popular bird tattoos are the eagle, dove, swallow and birds of prey tattoos. Once again, the nature and attitude of the birds are taken into consideration when choosing the bird tattoo.
It’s just a simple way to uncover the slew of great tattoo styles you would have never seen otherwise. No matter which tattoo styles you end up choosing, just make sure you are picking the exact one for your particular tastes and don’t settle for less.

Everyone knows that tattoos are for life, but they actually can be removed (BUT BE READY FOR SOME PAIN)
The removal method for the tattoo depends upon the pigment or ink used, the amount of time the tattoo was on the skin, the size, location and whether or not it was done professionally, also total removal of a tattoo is not always possible.
Surgical excision may be possible for small tattoos. Surgery also can be used for the removal of larger tattoos, but this may involve the need for multiple surgeries and skin grafting. (Expensive and painful)
Dermabrasion is another removal method; this involves freezing the skin, then sanding the surface with an abrasive instrument. Because the pigments are located in the middle of the skin, pain, bleeding and or discomfort can be expected. (quite very painful-so maybe the tattoo isn’t that bad)
Salabrasion is a similar procedure; bur requires the application of an irritating substance prior to sanding. This position can take 30 - 60 minutes depending upon the location and size of the tattoo.
Laser treatment is a popular removal method. Its effectiveness is dependent on the targeted pigment. Lasers emit highly focused light beams that break up the pigment particles, which then evaporate. The laser beam feels as if a rubber band is being snapped against the skin. Crusting at the tattoo site results and the tattoo will gradually fade as healing takes place.( very very expensive and not successful always)
Is it’s the design or wording of the tattoo that is bothering you, then may be you can have it redesigned instead of removing it. It will be less costly and painful, but remember only a highly skilled tattoo artist can rework on an existing tattoo.

Tattooing is more than just a popular trend. Over the past 50 years, tattoos have increased in its popularity. Be it professionals, athletes, or rock stars, men love to sport a tattoo.
Why tattoos?
Some guys get tattooed to carry any idea, to highlight anything which influenced them, or just for the sake of it being in fashion. Others get ink pumped into their body pores just to show off pride. People would not mind the agony of piercing through their body parts to get their tattoos done.
Which one to choose from?
When it comes to choosing a tattoo, there are broadly five types of tattoos- abstractions, naturalistic, pledge tattoos, simplifications and tattoos with complex structures.
Abstractions: These are derived from primitive styles of tattooing. They don’t consist of much artwork. They are often made with black ink and classic grey shade.
Abstraction tattoos around the navel, chest, and calves seem to be all the rage among younger men. Older men tend to get abstraction tattoos on their shoulders, arms and upper back.
Naturalistic: Tattoos looking realistic are called as naturalistic. They involve a lot of detail in an attempt to create the realistic look. Naturalistic tattoos are more costly since they require minute detailing and hence more time to create.
Pledge tattoos: Pledges are often found in traditional western tattooing. These include the popular heart and name banner style tattoos.
Simplifications: Simplifications are also referred to as stylized tattoos and they appear in all shapes, sizes and styles. A simplification can be an action figurine, or one of those standard pictures you’ll find on the wall of most tattoo shops, such as a tiger or a flower.
Complex tattoos: Complex structures, also called combinations, include traditional Japanese body suits, most half-sleeves, and jumbles of unrelated images with no connecting theme or fill work.
