How to dress slimmer – Part II!

How to dress slimmer – Part II!Alright it’s been a series of three articles over my writing about tips to help healthy men dress slimmer. How you look is one of the key factors in not only determining what others think of you but also how you feel about yourself. Whether you are a bit too heavy or a bit too thin, the key lies in knowing what would suit you the best and make you most comfortable. The tips I talk about have been tested and proven since decades now so please shed away your doubts if you think I am only kidding by saying that the power of dressing is such that it can make you look slimmer within an instant if you know it all.

So for all of those who have been worried about their flab showing out while wearing particular apparel, here are some fashion tips that’ll render you a new style to your persona. So gear up and read on!

We have already discussed colors, patterns, prints, textures and the fits. Let’s have a look at the apparels you can employ for the perfect look.

Collars – The choice of the right kind of collars is a must because there are some collars that make men look healthier. These are those that cover the length of the neck like turtlenecks and look extremely odd on men who already have short stout necks. So the best option for you would be to flatter your neck by wearing necklines such as v-necks and round necks. This is so because an exposed neck make a face look smaller. Likewise, when it comes to wearing shirts, keep your first two buttons unbuttoned.

Jackets – Jackets are a wonderful way of hiding your flab because once it is on, it tends to take one’s interest away from what’s underneath it. The trick lies in choosing a jacket that is single-breasted because a double-breasted one will put the attention at the center. There are no specific rules about keeping the buttons of the jacket fastened or unbuttoned. Just make sure that the jacket isn’t too loose and fits you well from all sides. If your midpoint contains a bulge then the best way is to keep the last button unbuttoned for it may create creases on the fabric in that area.

Pants - There is a fit available in the market called the mid-rise pants which lies between high-waisted and low-waisted pants and is a perfect option for men with the flab on their bodies. Low waisted jeans/slacks are not recommended because they tend to squeeze your flesh from the sides which believe me looks really ugly to look at. Besides tapered pants are an absolute no no especially if your mid section is wide. This is so because it ends up giving a cone like look to your structure which indeed looks very funny.

So my jaunt of telling you all about dressing slim ends here. But from this point on your journey to fetch the right kind of fits, fabric, color and ensembles starts. These are all time proven tips so feel at ease and plunge into the ocean with absolute confidence. The world is at your feet!

How to look slimmer!

How to look slimmer! All of those who have been reading my previous articles as well will know that in my last one I talked about how can men look slimmer by employing some simple dressing tips. I spoke about how you can manipulate colors, prints and patterns to look slender and slimmer than your actual form. Well, the tips are easy. All you need to do is be aware about them. Here we go talking about more of such suggestions!

The fit!
Even if you are healthy, always pick clothes that fit you perfectly well. They should be too loose or too tight. People often wear lose clothes thinking that it will help them hide their bulges on the sides or else where. This is an absolutely wrong notion. Loose clothing only makes you look messy and flabbier than you already are. On the other hand, wearing clothes that are a bit too tight will have your flesh spilling from here and there making your body look all squeezed up and stranded. The bottom line is if you are comfortable in wearing something, you’ll automatically feel good and eventually look good as well. People around you often tend to know whether or not you are comfortable while wearing something. So its no use fooling yourself by wearing something that is actually not making you comfortable. Buy items that fit you just well and flatter your body type.

The Texture!
The texture is another crucial factor that need to be kept in mind while you are picking clothes for yourself. Thin fabrics like satin should be completely avoided because they are first of all shiny and tend to outline your bulgy areas a bit too much. Cottons, linens and mixed materials with greater percentage of cotton are the ones which will work best for your body type.

The tips are many, the space but less. So keep yourself geared and keep reading my forth coming articles which will still be a continuation of these dressing tips. Till then have a wonderful shopping spree for you now know what would suit you the best!

Time to dress smart and casual!

Time to dress smart and casual!Does it sound simple? Let me tell you it isn’t. For those have you whose day starts with wearing fine silk ties, wool suits, a business suit or a tuxedo, most of the time indeed is spent in styling yourself around it. The clothes and then the accessories to complete your ensembles is what occupied most part of your day. Occasions for these may range from lunch with business partner, investor or even a formal date. Bit what do you do when you are off these things? Time after 5’0clock when you intend to just relax with friends by just hanging out with them in a bar or a club. Here comes in the real spice of dressing because most men are often left clueless about the informal settings required at tat point in time.

Jeans, Jeans all the way!

Nothing beats denims when it comes to dressing casually but with an undying air of style. However, denims now a days are no longer taken into just the ‘casual; category. There are many jeans of higher construction and good quality that can now been worn at office as well. It is a perfect wear to sport a smart, casual and a semi-casual look depicting a highly youthful expression of style.

Say no to Khakis!
For a person who believes in making his own strong style statement, khakis are never a substitute for dress pants that give you the air of smart, casual dressing around you. To me they seem like some inefficient hybrid that one can never really make an impression wearing. Nothing beats the denims which come in all the shapes, sizes and even fits. One you know what make would suit you depending on your body type, never think twice about picking them up.

For the summer and the spring season, a light pair of denims would work the best. This will help you pair with some bright tones of shirts that are prevalent in this season. The best that can be easily paired with these are polo t-shirts, short-sleeved shirts, and screen printed t-shirts. Natural matches to these are the sandals that go perfectly well with such attire and look effortlessly good.

Dressing smart is all about wearing your attitude, the happier side of you on your sleeves. It all about being your self, without any masked expressions or formal smiles. However, the amount of thought that goes into defining yourself simple is, I must say not that simple!

Tips for men to dress slimmer!

Tips for men to dress slimmer! The greatest health hazard that comes with age is the extra fat that starts accumulating around our bodies. And the older we grow the more difficult it gets for us to trim all the extra flab. But if you think that you will now not be able to wear fashionable clothes just because of the flab, you are absolutely wrong! You can still wear all the clothes you see models wearing on the ramp and also look slimmer wearing them. How? Well, I know it sounds too good to be true but it is pretty much possible. All you need to know is some tricks that entail the art of dressing tastefully.

Let’s Checkout!
Whether you believe or not, clothes can create great illusions. And if you know just the right outfit to be worn on your body type, you can literally look 10 pounds slimmer than your real weight. On the other hand, wrong sense of dressing can also make you look healthier than usual. So here I am with some fashion tips that’ll help you tastefully cover your body variances with effortless ease.

Here we go!

The color!
Always choose dark colors for yourself. Black rules! Unlike the bright colors, dark hues make you look thinner than your actual form there by giving a sense of compactness to your structure. IF you want to have some refuge from the black for some time, you can wear gray and navy blue as well.

Plain hues work the best!
If you are in the habit of wearing bright colors both for your top as well as the lowers, shed it right away. This is of the many wrong healthy men make. Instead wear a solid color from top to bottom so that your body does not look fragmented. Yes, wearing two different colors divides your body into two thereby shortening your height to a great extent. A monochromatic color will help to create a vertical illusion, making you look slimmer and slender.

Patterns!
The first thing to need to discard from your wardrobe regarding patterns are the horizontal stripes. Vertical stripes are the best in this regard because they give an elongated look to your body. The thinner the stripes, the better you’ll look.

Besides, in terms of designs, do not go for large prints under any circumstances. Always go for prints that are small, running which overlap each other. Large prints create a sense of broadness and hence make you look fatter.

There is still a hoard of tips waiting for you in this regard so keep your clocks ticking for you’ll get them to read pretty soon. Until then, I hope these tips come in handy for you in times to come!

The bug called casual dressing!

The bug called casual dressing!Potato duds, urban street wear, weekend warrior, geek chic – these are some of the terms given to Friday dressers who don’t mind being their flaunting their off-beat clothing as long as it helps them define their true self. So pick your casual style tips to make you sure you look your comfy best.
• A casual wardrobe needs to be built just like you build your formal gear. Choose cohesive pieces built around basic styles. The colors that need to have a presence in your collection are khaki, denim, red, black and white.
• Nothing kills a sporty look more than a pair of white running shoes. The stores are full of chic colors and fabrics such as the suedue boots and sandals. Wear them and you’ll never regret your choice.

• One should never think that ‘casualness’ calls for being unkempt as well. Certainly not! Casual clothes should indeed be in tip-top shape, i.e. neatly mended and ironed.

• Never even think of mixing diamonds with sweatshirts unless you are a rapper.

• Use sporty watches, bags and accessories to add to the casual flavor. Tote bags in different cloth fabrics looks cool and so does the wrist bands. Braided belts also look good.

• Completely avoid clichés like baggy sweats and leggings. They make you look as if you are still stuck in the 80’s.

• While nothing beats the jeans in casual line, one should make sure you don’t wear those stone-washed styles unless you have the audacity to carry the odd.

The liberty of wearing casually is what modern day times have gifted its generation with. This casual revolution has eaten the youngsters today like a bug and has found wide acceptance even in the fashion world and the office environs. Thus the markets are today swarming with gears that all set to pacify your ‘casual’ bug. The world is finally on a roll.

men making fashion disasters

men making fashion disastersNot only women, but also most of men makes fashion crimes. They wear and do lot of things which are big no-no. Read some of them here and try not repeating them:
Shoes
Keep your shoes clean; leather shoes should always look polished. If your shoes need repair, take them to a repair shop at once. Also, quality beats quantity; invest in a good pair of shoes even if they are expensive. They will last longer than the shoes you buy in thrift stores.

Socks with Sandals
This bad fashion decision has forever been intolerable for both men and women, yet people continuously violate it. Socks with sandals are a fashion no-no for two reasons. One, sandals are supposed to be worn on bare feet, and two, nobody wants to look at your toes stuffed into a dirty sock. People, if your feet are cold, simply wear some closed-toed shoes instead of socks with sandals!

Ill sized clothes
Still, there comes a time when suits are old-fashioned and ill fitting- and those suits need to be tailored. Suits that fit you poorly will always make you look sloppy or messy. Suits that are outdated will look ridiculous and cheap, and make you feel foolish. Oversized clothes are only to be worn when it’s bedtime. The baggy look is a definite NO, even while gyming. Guys pay attention to; oversized tee shirts with baggy pants are one of the most common fashion flubs in college. Even oversized watches are out of fashion.

Hair styles
It is also a big issue. Comb it before you leave your house. Out of bed look doesn’t look nice at workplace. Women are not attracted to the taut pony tail at the back of the head on a hairless guy. Facial hair should also be clean, trimmed and not shabby.

Pants
Most men don’t have a pair of trouser unless they came along with a suit. Try to buy at least one actual pair of dress pants. Besides the standard black pants, navy is another color that will give you a modern look. Jeans are a must for men. Don’t go too baggy or wear jeans too short or too tight - skinny jeans. Dark jeans look good at night since they give an illusion of dress pants.

Jewelry
Long jewelry isn’t just a fashion no-no. There’s a myth floating around that your display of it will attract women. Other than a wedding ring, that may not be true. However, a smart looking watch minus the thick diamonds might be nice. If you wear a chain, keep it simple and only wear one. Save the gold close chains, bracelets, pinky rings and facial piercing for afterwards hours.

Perfumes
Perfume and cologne are no-no at the gym. If you go to the gym straight from work, remind yourself not to wear too much perfume or cologne that day. When you sweat, the smell becomes much stronger and may bother others. .

Stinking Clothes
It’s acceptable to be a little stinky and dull after a workout. But showing up in clothes already emanating a disturbing stench is a fashion no-no. Similarly, wearing clothes with giant holes or doubtful stains should be avoided. Wearing old tee shirts and shorts is fine; just make sure they’re clean. Make it a habit to inspect your clothes when you take them off and when they come out of the wash to make sure you don’t miss a spot. Watch for yellow circles below the armpits, decrepit collars or cuffs.

Extravagance dressing
There is nothing lasting about novelty clothing nor does it project a stylish, put together image. Leave the smiley faces, hearts and various others at home. It does accept to accurate your individuality through blush or pattern. But stick with the archetypal amplitude of about three-and-one-quarter inches and accomplish abiding the colors and patterns accompaniment the shirt you are wearing. When it comes to how a tie hangs, it should reach the top of your belt buckle and have a dimple in the center of the knot.

Fashion disastrous celebrities: kayne west, Nancy Reagan, Alice cooper, Cara Harrington and many more.

So when you choose a coat, keep the following things in mind:

The fabric:
Coats made of pure wool or a type of wool velour is meant for durability and a sense of warmth. A blend of wool and cashmere is a good choice because the coat made up of this blend of fabrics is softer and usually come with a reasonable price tag.

You can get the ultimate luxury in coats made of cashmere, which is very soft, though it is pricey. Coats made of cashmere have a finer feel and are lighter in weight.

Dress well

Dress wellAre you planning to build a new wardrobe? If yes, then put in a number of versatile pieces together to create your perfect clothing line. Here are a few tips to consider when choosing the important parts of your wardrobe including shoes, pants, belts and shirts.

Shoes:

Purchase at least four pairs of shoes- a pair for exercise, casual sneakers, black boots and brown dress shoes. Prefer a pair of black, grey or blue sneakers. A cap toe or a wing tip brown shoes if fine.

Pants:

I would not suggest you baggy fit when you shop for a pair of jeans. Ultra-tight jeans are flop. Dark blue jeans with a soft wash are preferable. Talking about pants, it should well fit your waist. The cuff of the leg should not bunch up around your shoe; it should stop right where the sole starts on your shoes.

Belts:

Keep it simple- buy a plain black or brown leather belt.

Shirts:

Polos are good choice. Rugby stripes are also fine. Use white t-shirts as undershirts. Shop for a few pullover hooded shirts as well.
