Comments Control your curls
Most men would not like to waste their time standing in front of the mirror to get control of their curly hair. You may often lose temper when your comb gets jammed in between your frizzy curls. Some of you can even think of straightening your curls or cut them off, but wait, your curly hair will also look fine if given proper maintenance.
Here are some tips to manage your puffing-up curly hair:
• Don’t go against your hairstyle. Try out a hairstyle that suits your curly hair and gives you the best look.
• Keeping short hair is also a good option because short hairstyles are easier to maintain. Cut it regularly, every four or six weeks. Good hair stylists will cut your hair in different angles, removing the excess volume that makes your hair frizzy.
• Avoid blow-drying after a haircut. This tends to blow up the volume rather than reducing it. Comb your hair with fingers and let it air dry.
• Brush your hair and apply hair spray when the hair is still wet. This will help to straighten the portions of your hair where the curls are too much.
• Don’t use excess shampoo and conditioner. It is a myth that excess of shampooing and conditioning will straighten your hair. Overuse will only damage your hair. Choose the right products and use them appropriately.
Curls look cool. They just need a little bit of treatment and maintenance. So, control your curls and feel the difference!
