The magic of the French cuff! All the men delving into the world of men’s fashion would know what magic the French cuff can create in your wardrobe. The perfect spice needed to embolden your clothing is what the French cuff gives you, not to mention the enormous amount of presence it renders to your personality. And my friends, who are not aware about the spell that these cuffs can cast on your look, you need to read this for sure!

The French-cuffs has many roles to play but here, let’s see how you can dress up casually for a business purpose without losing the elegance that formal dressing grants you. Listed below are some combinations that you can employ to create the perfect clothing aura about you. The idea here is to wear classy dress shirts in combination with different garbs.

If you are in for a business-casual look, then tie has no role to play in it but that doesn’t mean that your clothing should not well-tailored. Never mistake the casual-business dressing for a rumpled look. It never sends a good message in business. Be sure that you portray yourself with grace and a good measure of humility.

• An icy-pink cotton button down shirt with cashmere dark navy chalk stripe mink notched lapel serves for a perfect combination to render the casually elegant air around you. You can also wear a two-buttoned single breasted peak instead of it which indeed looks extremely dressier and classy.

• Medium blue sea- island cotton French cuff with a royal blue single breasted wool suit will work wonders if well tailored. The cuffs can either be striped or solid.

• One of the must haves for the winter gear in your wardrobe is the cream colored Mongolian cashmere zip neck Sorrento sweater. Wear it with a dress shirt flaunting French cuffs in combination with a pair of warm brown wool trousers and you’ll never miss the large amount of eye balls falling on you with will admiration.

• Also a shiny black leather blazer with a bright sea-island cotton French-cuffed shirt with jazzy cufflinks, a pair of indigo blue jeans with cowboy boots will knock everyone’s socks off if you want to have a dramatic day some time.

A rule of the thumb is to be neatly dressed come what may because if it is women that you have around you then, every single detail of your will be noticed. So if you want to dress to kill, then the key lies in creating a curious interest through your clothing. The admiring stares will tell you all about how you look.

The One and Only T-Shirt Fashion

The One and Only T-Shirt FashionT- Shirt trade has evolved as a very competitive market. No wonder why, t shirts are used everyday day in, day out.
The variety brands, colors, fabrics and designs of t-shirts found is simply amazing! This variety will bowl you over and confuse you as to what one to get.
The pricing of t-shirts also varies according to the brands. You can get t shirts ranging from £3 to £60.
Plain white t shirts are generally cheaper. You can make them look like an expensive branded t-shirt simply by printing designs of your choice. All you need to do is find a plane t-shirt of the right size and fabric and then take it to a t-shirt printer where you could get your favorite designs printed on your t-shirt for a small fee.

Another idea to personalize your t shirt is by getting any letters printed on your t shirt. Take your t shirt to the printing place and ask them to print the letters you want on the t shirt. More and more people are now opting for getting their t shirts printed because it is getting cheaper to print your own t shirts.

If you want to mark your style statement in a casual way, look for brands that manufacture t shirts with funny slogans on them. One such brand is “Gorilla”. This has become very popular in Australia.

Polyester Vs. Cotton

Polyester Vs. CottonWhich fabric is superior- cotton or polyester- is a much debated issue. Cotton is a natural fiber whereas polyester is synthetic. Being natural, cotton is related to green and clean. So cotton is better, right? Well, not exactly! In this article, we have tried to do a fair comparison of cotton and polyester. Read on.

Polyester is more stain resistant as compared to cotton garments. On the contrary, cotton garments waste a lot of energy. Cotton garments require frequent mild wash since they are less resistant to tough stains. Cotton demands hot water wash to remove the stains whereas you can easily wash off the tough stains using cold water if it is a polyester garment.

Synthetic fibers don’t loose their shape. Unlike cotton, polyester garments do not loose their shape.

Cotton is a renewable fiber. However, it is not grown sustainably. Moreover, the production of cotton demands use of high amounts of pesticides and insecticides. Organic cotton is good since it doesn’t use these harmful chemicals. However, organic cotton is highly water intensive.

On the other hand, polyester is less water intensive but requires more energy consumption. The increased use of wood and oil for the production of polyester is contributing to global warming. However, the advantage of polyester is that is 100% recyclable.

Hence, both cotton and polyester is not winner for the environment as far as the effects of the fibers on environment is concerned.

The best clothes for your healthy physique

The best clothes for your healthy physiqueLean man would like to put on muscles. On the other hand, heavier man will try to look lean. If you are in the second category, then here are a few tips for choosing the right clothes.
Jackets and blazers:
Avoid buying double-breasted suits. Instead, look for a single-breasted one which is buttoned high. Talking about jackets, choose one which doesn’t hang below your buttocks. If you have a bear belly, wear suspenders beneath the blazers. Pinstripes suits are the wise choice for heavier men.

Trousers:
Avoid any pleats or tucks in the material of your trousers to let the legs look slimmer.

Sweaters:
Thick wool will make you look bulkier. A good fit light material is the best buy. V-necks draw down and thin out the neck, so choose this style over a rounded neck.

Dry- cleaning and caring tips for your garments

Dry- cleaning and caring tips for your garmentsSo you want your garments to be dry-cleaned? Well, get it done in moderation. The reason is the high drying temperatures and chemicals used in the dry-cleaning process deteriorate the threads and fabric which can directly damage your garment and shorten its life. So, get your garments dry-cleaned in a proper way.

It is always recommended to dry clean the suits once per season. If your suit is terribly stained with foods, take it to the dry cleaner immediately. Don’t try and remove the stain yourself, leave that to the professional. Inform them of the type of spot you have.

Make sure that you have surrendered your favorite suit to a good dry cleaner. If you identify the following signs in your suit, then change the dry cleaner ASAP!

• If your suit fits differently, the garment may be cleaned at the wrong temperature.
• If your dry cleaner has done hard-pressing, your fabric can become glossy.
• If you notice some imprints of press around the pockets and buttons of your suit, this may be because your dry cleaner has applied improper pressing techniques.

Then what should be done to prevent the damage in your garments? Follow these instructions to safeguard the fabric of your suit:

• Hang your fine suits up on a good wooden hanger. Mens clothing hooks are a strict no-no.
• Organize your closet. A jam-packed closet welcomes wrinkles in the wearings.
• Minimize dry cleaning. Don’t dry clean your suits more than three to four times a year.
• When you are hanging your suit, never button the suit jacket or zip.
• Brush your suit after each wearing. It takes off the surface dirt.
• Colors may undergo changes in the dry cleaning process. So, always clean both jacket and pants together.
• Hand pressing of the jacket is recommended.

Your style is the reflection of your personality

Your style is the reflection of your personalityIf you spot a group of youngsters wearing the latest trendy clothes, you may often think that they are in fashion and you also should be wearing like them no matter whether it really looks good on you or not. But, this is in fact a wrong notion. Being in vogue is good, but what if the clothes which you wear mismatch what you are?
Your style should reflect your character and your personality. It should reflect what you are, what your inner self is. So if you want to be trendy, try to personalize the trend if it does not go well with your personality. Here are a few tips how you can bring out your own style statement.

Tired of your old faded jeans? Try drawing some graphics on them and look for the change- your character will be expressed in a unique way.

For the reserved nature, here is a tip- add trendy accessories, wear elegant and matching top of the line shoes and check out the difference!

Accessories mark a big difference. Shoes are also unique wear that add some flair to your wardrobe. Experiment with your style. Try to mismatch your shoes with the clothes and see how it makes you feel!

Colors are yet another important part of our mood, our lifestyle, our likes and our dislikes. You may want to wear bright colorful solids, funky pants when on a happy day while you may want to wear black or dark colors when you are gloomy.

If you wear black on a regular basis can be mistaken for a sad day. But at night, the black dress behind your black jacket can give you the perfect look for your Friday night.

So we conclude that don’t judge anyone for wearing or not wearing what is new in style. Sometimes these looks are not even made for anyone. Your clothes should not contradict you, rather should express who you are and how you feel.
