You look around and you will hardly find men who really treasure etiquettes as an important part of their life style. Well, we certainly can’t blame it all on men. There are several factors that cater to one’s being the individual he is. The best thing that you can give to yourself and to people round you is the etiquettes that make you a perfect gentleman at heart. So if this is what you intend to be, then here are some basic forms of manner every man ought to practice in order to develop a respectable air around himself!

Politeness!
Being polite and humble is where your being a noble man, starts from. You may come across many people who are arrogant and provocative. This does not mean that you end up lowering your level in order to deal with them. Since they are people who do not matter to you, try not getting affected by them. Stay calm and peaceful, show them what being civilized means.

Swearing doesn’t help!
I have often seen young men swearing on things they are not even aware about. All these things look really kiddish when it comes to making a clean impression about yourself on those around you. Doing so shows that you don’t have the gravity to express your thoughts confidently. Besides, it shows that you are a crude personality which doesn’t speak well about you.

Be soft spoken!
Speaking out loud is one of the worst things you can do to spoil your impression on people, especially ladies. A lot of style that you possess comes with the kind of person you are. Hence, speaking out loudly only shows that you are a restless being, and rely on ‘force’ to get your point across. And if you’ve been thinking that it draws people’s attention to you, it does – negative attention!

Style to us seems more like a fashion term which we most commonly associate with clothing, the accessories and all possible tangibles we can think of. Well, where style may have its own criteria when it comes to women, but for men there are some inevitable factors without which you can’t really be quoted as a ‘perfect gentleman’. Yes, your sense of clothing does make a certain part of your style but the true spice lies in the individuality you carry as a human being. Temper gives the game away!
A balanced man can never be seen speaking everything or just anything despite the situation being heated. If you do that, it clearly shows that you are not in control of your emotions and that if you can’t do that, you can’t possibly control anything else then. This is popular notion people carry in their heads which to a certain extent is true as well. The key to this is to maintain your cool despite the acrid situation. Let the air mellow and then put forth your point in a neat and a calm way. This is one of the best qualities any man can develop and is highly impressive people don’t miss to take note of your level headedness.

Avoid staring!
Avoid staring at people under any circumstances. Ogling at someone is no less than psychological aggression which is needless to say a worst form one can display. This leads to you intimidating people for no reason and is a rude thing to so.

Avoid interrupting in a conversation!
I have often come across men who are a bit too impatient to even listen to what the other person has to say. Never do that! Not interrupting others while talking is one of the best examples of excellent social skills. So be patient and let the person finish his matter before you speak. If you constantly interrupt, you’ll come across as an egotistical being, which is not a very pleasant impression.

These are some simple but highly important facts that help you shape your persona the best way you can. We all have our eccentricities for sure but there is no substitute for good manner which indeed determine your style as an individual to a great extent.

The effects of building a good rapport with someone are endless. It will make people trust you, and look up to you. Some people are naturally good at being charismatic . The problem is that most people don’t know how to be charismatic and build a good rapport. One of the easiest ways to build rapport is to care about the people you talk to.

When someone feels like they are cared about, they will care more about you. This holds true for just about any conversation. Talking to your new neighbor at the mailbox. Flirting with the cute new secretary at work. Virtually any conversation where you want to leave a lasting impression of integrity and value.

Basically this is really simple, what you need to do is take the mental frame of mind wanting to get to know the person. Be curious about them, maybe they know some hidden bit of knowledge you have been seeking for years. You want to look up to them, and respect them. If you take more value in the things they say, they will take more value from what you say.

One easy way to do this is to picture the person as being the next president or famous actor. Some person whom you respect and look up to. Look them in the eyes when they are talking. Don’t stare at them, but make sure you acknowledge that you hear what they are saying. Pay attention, they might have something interesting to say.

When you respond to them make sure your response is relevant to what they are saying. You don’t want to change the subject if they are talking about something that interests them. People are happier talking about something they enjoy. They are more likely to remember your conversations.

You can be charismatic by laughing at peoples jokes, smiling things like that. When you use this technique into a conversation with a person you just met, you will have a far more meaningful conversation with them. They will feel more comfortable talking to you and be more open. This will leave a lasting impression in her mind as well. She will remember you in a positive way.

You will never know what you are missing out on if you do not take these tips into action. It’s worth the little bit of extra effort. You will find yourself developing stronger relationships with people. When you have a good rapport with someone they want you to be a part of their life. Being charismatic makes it easy to talk to everyone. Everyone will enjoy your new presence.
