The over production of oil in the glands within your skin causes blackheads, small dark spots on your nose which look like zits. Sebum is the oil that causes the blackheads. With the increase in oil build up, the pores are converted into a ball of accumulated oil, which in turn exposed to air turns black in color. Therefore, when you spot the dark spots, you don’t actually have to start squeezing them out. Just follow a good cleaning routine that will surely help you get rid of the ugly blackheads. Here is a better way to remove these blackheads. Read on.
Keep your skin as clean as possible. Start your cleaning routine by washing away excess oil build up and dead skin particles. Use mild cleansing lotion, which will keep the moisture of intact in your skin as well as avoid drying out the skin. A gentle exfoliate is a good solution to remove the old skin cells away. The exfoliate clears away the old and dead skin thereby exposing the blackheads. Meanwhile, the low potency benzoyl peroxide will help to break up and clear the blackhead from the skin.
A gentle scrub also works against blackheads effectively. Apply a daily scrub in the morning before all your other skincare treatments. You may also use the scrub three to four times a week. By doing this, the blackheads will be removed slowly, but effectively.
Harsh soaps are strict no-no if you have blackheads since these can irritate your skin. Instead, use a warm compress of water applied to the area of the blackhead and then very gentle pressure will help in clearing the clog from the pore, thereby removing the blackheads completely.
